We monitor each server always once in the chosen interval. We are monitor
availability (if it is possible to connect to the given server/service).
Method of the connection depends on the kind of the service. It could be
a requirement on the web page, a connection to FTP, an e-mail...
See the service overview at the bottom of this page.
Except what and how will be monitored, you can also set a timeout
(1-30 sec.), connection port or
a login/password (if required). You can let us send you dropout alerts
and detailed stats of each for your addresses.
As soon as your pages send us an error status, we can send you a notice to your mobile phone or e-mail. It depends only on you which option you choose. This notice will be sent to you only once during a long-lasting error, so you will not have your mailbox "bombed" with 30 mails (in case of a half an hour dropout and monitoring every minute), but you'll only receive one message with detailed information of your dropout.
Our system can not only count dropouts but can also note down the dropout/monitoring ratio in the chosen time horizon, store returned HTTP codes, group more dropouts and distinguish everything into hourly/daily/monthly periods. This all will be displayed in your availability stats in the administration. Everything can be displayed on a simple public web address.
At the moment we monitor these services:
All the services are of the same price (so it doesn't matter if it is HTTPS or e.g. IMAP). Free monitoring with 10 minute periods is available for HTTP (head) only.
